Jean’s aim is always to get the job done within the required time, with the best possible outcome and protections for her client; at the same time making sure the client has a clear understanding of the pros and cons. Jean believes that issues have to be dealt with in a constructive manner and that advice has to be clear and jargon free. Jean’s view is that a strong client relationship and understanding of a client’s business is essential to giving good advice
Jean’s practice covers the full range of corporate commercial work – specific expertise includes acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and shareholder issues, as well as customer facing documents such as standard terms. Industry expertise includes the financial and regulatory sector (in particular spread betting, CFDs, FX and financial services) and human fertilisation and embryology.
Jean’s expertise also includes non-contentious employment matters, such as employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, restrictive covenants and employee benefits.
When not at work, Jean runs marathons, swims, cycles and plays football – all of which she says are great fun!
