Irina qualified as a solicitor in March 2009 and deals with a wide range of commercial issues, including terms & conditions, general commercial contracts, distribution agreements and unfair terms in consumer contracts. In addition she advises on insolvency matters, commercial and employment disputes and a wide range of regulatory matters, including human fertilisation and embryology.
Irina also has experience in both contentious and non-contentious Licensing issues including applications in relation to premises licences, DPS transfers, personal licences, marriage licences and reviews of premises licences.
Before joining Bevan Kidwell in September 2007, Irina worked for another City firm for two years focusing on Product Regulation and Product Liability and, in particular, tobacco and food law. She advised clients on all aspects of regulatory and compliance issues, including product safety, labelling and health warnings, ingredients, advertising, marketing and promotions, as well as issues of misleading descriptors and brand protection.
Irina is of Ukrainian origin and is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and German. In her spare time she enjoys travel, music and good food.
